For those who have a website already or choose to build a new website with us, Birdwing Designs offers reliable, responsive support to keep your website up-to-date. We make requested site updates within 8 business hours of the request according to your specifications, and offer proactive suggestions to keep your site looking and functioning beautifully.

Many of our clients come to us knowing exactly what they want and need, and many more come in feeling unsure, intimidated or overwhelmed by the process of creating a website. There's no one-size-fits-all approach to preparing for a website project. We offer you flexibility by providing as much or as little support and time as you need in the visioning and planning phase of your site.

Lisa and her team specialize in working with clients to create a website plan, budget, timeline, site architecture and aesthetic vision, and will support you in the process of choosing images and writing your content. This is the first phase of all projects, preceeding the "design and build" phase.

We listen closely to you and your vision and build an online presence from scratch that's truly made for you. After the visioning phase is complete, your project will happen in two consecutive phases:

Website Design

The price of your design varies widely based upon your personal requirements and design style. We listen closely to your aesthetic taste and the qualities your brand aims to express visually, then create a design customized for you. The complexity of this phase varies based upon the clarity of your vision and which elements you can provide us to expedite the process, such as color palette, logos, fonts, examples of your brand in other collateral or a mock up of the site you'd like to see. Birdwing Designs can support this by facilitating photography, stock photography selection and even new logo development.

There are many systems out there now that help non-technical users update their sites. Many have a steep learning curve, are full of hair-pulling limitations and cost three times as much as your site did. We have developed a specialty working with two affordable and easy-to-use systems that have our clients editing-away with glee. Adobe Contribute is a software that you buy and install, and we'll set up your site to work with it, get it up and running on your computer, provide you with a reference manual and personally train you on all you need to know. Wordpress is a web-based tool that offers similar ease-of-use with different features. Each has their advantages and we can provide you with a recommendation for your needs.

Birdwing Designs also has experience with Drupal and Joomla development and will be happy to talk with you if either of these is your preferred system.
